Cookie Policy
Effective date: February 15, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Signal Recall uses cookies and similar technologies.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They are used to remember preferences, maintain sessions, and provide functionality essential to the service.
2. Cookies We Use
Signal Recall uses a minimal set of cookies. We do not use any advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. All cookies we use are either essential for the service to function or store your explicit preferences.
3. Essential Cookies
We use an authentication token (stored in your browser's local storage) to keep you signed in. This is required for the service to function and cannot be disabled while using Signal Recall.
4. Preference Cookies
We use a locale cookie to remember your language preference (English, Traditional Chinese, or Simplified Chinese). This cookie has a lifespan of one year and uses the SameSite=Lax attribute. We also store your theme preference (light, dark, or system) to maintain your display settings across sessions.
5. Third-Party Cookies
Signal Recall does not set any third-party cookies. Our AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) are called from our server and do not set cookies in your browser.
6. Managing Cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that clearing the authentication data will sign you out, and clearing the locale cookie will reset your language preference to English.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page.
8. Contact
If you have questions about our use of cookies, please contact us at [email protected].
